The Town Hard

 

is maintained by a group of local volunteers who formed the Town Hard Association in 1963

This charitable organisation is funded locally and acts as trustees for the Frinton & Walton Town Council.

The Town Hard can be found at the end of Mill Lane and is the only area where small boats can be launched

 into the river, free of charge.
